AutoVlog Terms of Service
Effective date: 27 May 2026 Version: 2
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a contract between you and:
Računalniške storitve REK, Mihael Rek s.p. Ulica heroja Jevtiča 5, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia Matična številka: 7412037000 · Davčna številka: 89184882 Contact: support@autovlog-app.com
(referred to as "AutoVlog", "we", "us" or "our") and govern your use of the AutoVlog mobile application and the website at www.autovlog-app.com (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You may use the Service if you are 15 years of age or older. This is the digital-consent age in Slovenia under ZVOP-2 (implementing GDPR Article 8). If you are between 15 and 18 you have full legal capacity to use the Service, but Slovenian Civil Code (OZ) may require parental authorisation for purchases. By making a purchase, you represent that you have the legal capacity (or parental authorisation, where required) to do so.
You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under any applicable law.
2. The Service
AutoVlog is an iOS application that:
- Reads photos and videos from your camera roll (with your permission)
- Selects and orders clips automatically using on-device computer vision and an AI editorial step
- Suggests music tracks (sourced from a Creative Commons-licensed music catalogue)
- Composes a vertical (9:16) short vlog of 30 to 59 seconds and exports it back to your camera roll
- Optionally backs up rendered vlogs to our cloud storage on paid plans
- Provides a public profile page at
www.autovlog-app.com/@<handle>for users who choose to make their profile public — displaying their handle, display name, avatar, vlog count, follower count, following count, and any vlogs they have individually marked as public (profiles are private by default) - Enables you to follow other users, build a follower list, and discover public vlogs
- Lets you heart (like) public vlogs created by other users
- Allows other users to follow you, view your public profile and heart your public vlogs, if your profile is public
The exact features, plan limits and entitlements are described inside the app and on www.autovlog-app.com. We may add, change or remove features over time. We will give you reasonable notice for material changes that reduce the functionality you paid for.
3. Your account
To use the Service you create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or another supported method. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information
- Keeping the credentials of your sign-in provider safe
- All activity that happens under your account
One person, one account. Don't share your account or use someone else's. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@autovlog-app.com.
4. Your content; the licence you grant us
4.1 You own your content
The photos, videos, captions and other media you upload or generate through the Service (your "Content") remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.
4.2 The licence you grant us
To deliver the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
- Store your Content on our infrastructure
- Process and transcode it (including running computer vision, deduplication, and AI editorial steps)
- Render vlogs from it
- Display it back to you on your devices
- Make backups for reliability
This licence is solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you. It ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for backups in the rotation cycle (which expire within 30 days) and for any copies that we are required by law to retain.
If you make your profile public or mark individual vlogs as public, the licence above additionally extends to: (a) displaying your public profile and public vlogs to all AutoVlog users and to any unauthenticated visitor of www.autovlog-app.com/@<handle>; and (b) allowing other AutoVlog users to heart your public vlogs and share links to them. This additional licence lasts only for as long as your profile or vlog remains public. Profiles and vlogs are private by default. You may revert to private at any time in Settings → Account → Profile visibility, and we will cease displaying your content to non-followers immediately.
4.3 You are responsible for your content
You confirm that you own — or have all necessary rights, licences and permissions for — every piece of Content you put into the Service, including:
- Any copyrighted material (photos, video footage, music)
- The likenesses and personal data of any people who appear in your Content
- Any location, place or premises depicted
You are responsible for the legality of your Content. You will not upload Content that infringes the rights of others, that is illegal, or that you do not have the right to upload.
4.4 Public profile and visibility controls
Your profile is private by default. You may switch it to public at any time in Settings → Account → Profile visibility and revert to private at any time.
When your profile is public, the following is visible to all AutoVlog users and to any unauthenticated visitor of the web:
- Your handle, display name and avatar
- Your vlog count, follower count and following count
- Any vlogs you have individually marked as public
When your profile is private:
- Your profile page at
www.autovlog-app.com/@<handle>is not publicly accessible; visitors see a not-found page. - Only confirmed followers can view your vlogs within the Service.
- You remain findable by handle via in-app search by users who already follow you or who have interacted with you.
You remain responsible for any content you make public. Before making a vlog public you should ensure you have all necessary rights and consents for any people depicted in it and for any third-party material it contains (see §4.3). You are also responsible for ensuring that making yourself publicly findable by handle is consistent with your personal safety circumstances.
4.5 Social interactions: following and hearts
Following. When you follow another user, they are not required to approve the follow (unless they have enabled follower approval — see in-app settings). A follow establishes a one-way subscription: you will see their public vlogs in your feed. You may unfollow at any time; the other user is not notified of an unfollow.
Hearts. Tapping the heart on a public vlog signals appreciation to the creator. The creator sees the aggregate heart count. We do not currently show the creator which accounts have hearted their vlog, and hearts are not visible to third parties beyond the aggregate count.
Blocking. You may block any other user at any time in their profile. Blocking removes any existing follow relationship, prevents the blocked user from viewing your profile, following you, or seeing your vlogs within the Service, and is not visible to the blocked user. You may unblock at any time. We enforce blocks within the Service; we cannot prevent a blocked user from accessing content you share publicly outside the Service (for example, a direct URL you post on a third-party platform).
5. Apple's End User Licence Agreement
The AutoVlog iOS app is licensed to you (not sold) under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "LAEULA"), which you can read at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms supplement the LAEULA. Where these Terms and the LAEULA conflict, the stricter provision applies. You acknowledge that the LAEULA is concluded between you and Apple, and that we — not Apple — are responsible for the Service and its content.
You and we both agree that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with respect to the LAEULA, and may enforce these Terms against you accordingly.
6. AI-generated content
AutoVlog uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude model) to suggest how your vlog should be composed — which clips to feature, what tone to use, what captions to draft. These are suggestions only; you control the final composition and can override any AI choice before exporting.
In line with EU AI Act Article 50, we tell you here, transparently, that AI is used to generate editorial suggestions in this Service.
We do not warrant that AI suggestions will be accurate, complete, fit for any particular purpose, or free of bias. AI output is best-effort. You are responsible for reviewing your vlog before publishing it anywhere.
7. Music licensing
Music tracks suggested by the Service are licensed under permissive Creative Commons terms (typically CC BY 4.0, CC BY-SA, or CC BY-ND). Each track's title, artist and licence are shown in the app — tap the music label on any vlog to see the credit and a link to the full licence terms.
When you publish a vlog elsewhere (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.), the licence of the music track travels with it. You are responsible for complying with that licence, including the artist attribution and license link required by Creative Commons.
Some Creative Commons licences impose additional obligations on derivative or commercial use (e.g. CC BY-SA requires share-alike licensing of the resulting work; CC BY-ND prohibits modifications). The licence of each track is the authoritative source — read it before reusing a vlog commercially.
8. Purchases, billing and refunds
8.1 Apple is the merchant of record
In-app purchases — auto-renewing subscriptions (Traveler / Daily Vlogger) and one-time consumable AI vlog packs (10 / 20 / 100) — are processed by Apple. Apple — not we — is the merchant of record. Apple collects the payment, charges any applicable VAT, issues the receipt, and processes refunds. We never see your payment card details.
8.2 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to mediate purchase state between Apple and our backend. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous user identifier and your subscription status (for subscriptions) or purchase record (for one-time packs), but no payment details. For one-time packs, RevenueCat records the purchase and our backend credits the corresponding AI-vlog quota to your account.
8.3 Auto-renewal (subscriptions only)
Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your Apple ID settings. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. One-time AI vlog packs do not auto-renew and have no recurring charge — they are billed once and grant a fixed quantity of AI vlogs that remain available in your balance until used.
8.4 Refunds
Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by Apple's standard refund policy. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly because we do not collect the payment. This applies equally to subscription charges and one-time pack purchases.
8.5 Right of withdrawal — and your express waiver
Under Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-1) Article 134 you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts for digital content. Article 135 of ZVPot-1 allows you to waive this right where the digital content is delivered before the 14-day period expires.
By starting to use the digital content (activating an entitlement, downloading a vlog, using AI quota, redeeming a one-time AI vlog pack, etc.), you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal. This is the standard posture for Apple in-app purchases and is surfaced to you by Apple at the moment of purchase as well.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights to a refund of defective digital content under ZVPot-1.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload Content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, depicts non-consensual intimate imagery, depicts the abuse of minors, or incites violence or hatred against any person or group
- Use the Service — including following, hearting, blocking or any future messaging feature — to harass, intimidate, stalk, threaten or abuse any other user
- Impersonate any real person, entity or brand in your handle, display name, avatar or any other profile field
- Use automated means (bots, scripts, purchased services or any coordinated inauthentic behaviour) to artificially inflate follower counts, heart counts or any other engagement signal
- Follow or unfollow users in bulk for the purpose of drawing attention to your profile, manipulating algorithmic recommendations or circumventing rate limits
- Collect, harvest or scrape handles, public profile data, follower or following lists, or any other data from the Service by automated means
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except to the extent expressly allowed by Slovenian or EU law (e.g. Directive 2009/24/EC Article 6 interoperability exception)
- Attempt to probe, scan or test the security of the Service, or to bypass authentication, rate limits or quotas
- Resell the Service, your account, or any cloud-stored vlogs
- Use the Service in any way that would violate Apple's App Store guidelines, applicable export-control laws, or sanctions
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and we may remove offending Content without prior notice. For serious or repeated violations — including patterns of harassment, impersonation or coordinated inauthentic behaviour — we may also report the matter to law enforcement and cooperate fully with any resulting investigation.
10. Reporting content and users
10.1 Reporting illegal or harmful content
If you believe Content on the Service is illegal — or if it constitutes harassment, hate speech, non-consensual intimate imagery, the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors, or incitement to violence — please report it to support@autovlog-app.com in line with the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, "DSA"). You may also use the in-app report button on any public vlog or public profile. Please include:
- A precise description of the Content and where it can be found (a direct URL or in-app path)
- A clear explanation of why you believe it is illegal or harmful
- Your contact details
- A statement that the information you provide is accurate and made in good faith
We will acknowledge your report within 24 hours where possible, decide within 7 days whether to act, and inform you of our decision and the reasons for it. Where we remove or restrict Content, we will provide a statement of reasons to the user concerned, as required by DSA Article 17. We maintain an internal complaint-handling mechanism: if you are dissatisfied with our decision, you may escalate in writing to support@autovlog-app.com and we will review the matter within 14 days.
10.2 Reporting abusive social behaviour
If another user is harassing, stalking, impersonating or otherwise abusing you through the Service's social features, you may (a) block the user directly (see §4.5), (b) report their profile or a specific vlog using the in-app report button, or (c) write to support@autovlog-app.com. We investigate all reports and may warn, suspend or permanently terminate accounts that engage in abusive behaviour.
10.3 Transparency and DSA compliance
AutoVlog operates as an online platform under DSA Article 3(i) to the extent it allows users to disseminate content to the public. We comply with the DSA obligations applicable to our scale. We do not currently meet the thresholds for "very large online platforms." We publish moderation statistics in our annual transparency report at www.autovlog-app.com/transparency where required by applicable law.
11. Copyright complaints
If you believe Content on the Service infringes your copyright, write to support@autovlog-app.com with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it can be found
- Your contact details
- A good-faith statement that you are the rightsholder or authorised to act on their behalf
- A statement that the information is accurate, signed (electronic signature acceptable)
We will respond within 7 days. We may remove or restrict the material pending review. The affected user may submit a counter-notice; if they do, we will notify you and may restore the material if you do not bring the matter before a competent authority within 14 days.
This procedure follows the Digital Single Market Directive (EU) 2019/790 as implemented in Slovenia.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Settings → Account → Delete my account).
We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice where practicable, if:
- You materially breach these Terms, the Privacy Policy or applicable law
- We are required to do so by law or by a competent authority
- You have not used your account for 24 months or longer (in which case we will email you first and only proceed if you do not reactivate)
On termination, the licences you grant us under Section 4 end (subject to backup rotation), and we erase your personal data per our Privacy Policy.
Admin access to stored content. In the course of investigating reported content, responding to a valid legal order, or diagnosing a technical fault at your request, authorised staff may access cloud-stored vlog files. All such accesses are logged and audited. Full details are in our Privacy Policy §5.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure
- Defects will be corrected
- AI suggestions will match your editorial intent
- The Service will be available in any particular territory
This Section does not exclude or limit any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under Slovenian consumer protection law (ZVPot-1), including the warranty of conformity for digital content under ZVPot-1 Articles 90 and following.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Gross negligence (huda malomarnost) or intent (naklep) under Slovenian Code of Obligations (OZ) Article 242
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including under Slovenian consumer protection law
If you are a consumer and Slovenian or EU consumer protection law gives you greater rights, that law prevails over this Section.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without giving effect to any conflict-of-laws principles.
The courts of Slovenia have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of these Terms, subject to:
- Mandatory consumer protections — if you are a consumer domiciled in another EU member state, you may also bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence under Article 18 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I bis Regulation). We may sue you only in your country of domicile.
- Mandatory rules of your country of residence under Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I) cannot be derogated from by these Terms.
Online dispute resolution
The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You may use it for out-of-court resolution of disputes. We are not currently committed to using a specific alternative dispute resolution body.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- We publish the new version on
www.autovlog-app.com/terms, with a new effective date and a permanent archive of previous versions. - For material changes, we will ask you to review and accept the updated Terms in the app before you continue using the Service. We give you reasonable advance notice when feasible.
- For non-material changes (typos, clarifications) we publish without asking for re-acceptance.
We keep a permanent record of which version you accepted and when.
If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using the Service and delete your account; for paid subscriptions, you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund where the change reduces functionality you paid for, in line with ZVPot-1. For one-time AI vlog packs, any quota you have already paid for remains usable on the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
17. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown in the app form the entire agreement between you and us.
- Severability. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control.
- Notices. We may notify you by email, by an in-app message, or by posting on the Service. You can notify us at
support@autovlog-app.com.
18. Contact
For any question about these Terms:
- Email:
support@autovlog-app.com - Post: Računalniške storitve REK, Mihael Rek s.p., Ulica heroja Jevtiča 5, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia

These Terms are also available in Slovenian at https://www.autovlog-app.com/terms?locale=sl. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Slovenian versions, the Slovenian version prevails for users domiciled in Slovenia.
